This was given to me by a close friend and I always receive compliments on the flavor. It can be use with chicken or flank steak.
2 lbs. flank steak
3/4 cup Wesson oil
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 Tabl. honey
1 teas. ginger
1 teas. garlic powder
1 scallion finely chopped
Mix all ingredients together. You can cut the steak into 1/2” strips- roll and secure w/toothpick. Rolls are about 3” in diameter or just leave as one piece. Marinate for about 8 hours. BBQ on medium coals or broil. Serve with wild rice and mandarin fruit salad.
